Work a claim under A.P.E.S. licensure.

A concession puts operators on rigs, and it does so by presenting the operator’s license — which stays with the Corporation.

What a concession receives

While a license is assigned

  • Read the license. The call sign, livery and rig, so the site can identify the operator.
  • Report yield. Tonnage, throughput and incident records, filed to the operator’s Record.
  • Enter the operator in Selection Trials. Its own, on its own schedule.

At no time

  • Read the operator’s filed channels — the email address or phone number with which they sign in.
  • Alter the license.
  • Present the operator at another concession.
  • Draw against the operator’s yield share.

How assignment proceeds

  1. The concession asks

    The operator is shown a Work Order: who is asking, what they will be able to do, and what they will not.

  2. The operator decides

    Authorize or deny, below the perforation. The license stays here either way; a grant can be rescinded by the operator at any time and by the Bureau without notice.

  3. The concession receives a chit

    A short-lived token the concession verifies against the Seal Registry, without contacting the Corporation again. An unattended terminal takes a duty assignment instead: it shows a code, and the operator approves it on their own phone.

In protocol terms, the Bureau Charter is an OpenID Connect discovery document, a Work Order is an OAuth 2.1 authorization request, a chit is an ES256 JSON Web Token, and a concession is an OAuth client. Nothing on the wire is renamed.

Contracting

A concession is entered on the register with a contract number on application in writing to the Bureau of Concessions, at operators@apescorporation.com. The Bureau registers a concession’s callback addresses exactly as given. It does not guess.
