Office of Selection

Conditions of use — Form OL-1

Conditions of use

  1. This license is the property of the Corporation and is issued to the bearer for the duration of good standing.
  2. Issuance does not constitute employment, engagement, partnership, apprenticeship, or any relationship implying remuneration, protection, insurance, or return passage.
  3. The bearer is under continuous selection. Selection is perpetual. Non-selection is not a penalty and may not be appealed.
  4. The bearer shall present this license at each cabinet prior to conditioning. Presentation is recorded.
  5. Recreational conditioning under Schedule 9 is voluntary, unremunerated, and telemetered.
  6. Throughput delivered to any goal is credited to the operator delivering it, without regard to the goal’s assignment.
  7. Thermal moderation of a peer unit is a permitted denial technique within the conditioning volume. Outside it, it is not the Bureau’s concern.
  8. Livery is selected by the bearer and printed as specified. The Bureau does not warrant legibility.
  9. The license may be suspended or rescinded at the Bureau’s discretion, with or without notice, for conduct, for cause, or for the maintenance of the register.
  10. The register is the Corporation’s asset. The bearer is an entry in it.

Schedule 9 — conditioning

9(c) Simulation and recreational access. Where a concession operates a conditioning simulator for public or recreational access, a licensed operator may present their license for entry. Such access is recreational, unremunerated, and does not constitute assignment to a claim. Yield recorded under simulation is notional. A.P.E.S. does not warrant that participation in simulated conditioning improves selection outcomes, and makes no representation as to enjoyment.
